The hand that knots

Forty hours, one leather cord at a time. How the Borsa Nodo is made.

No machine can do this work. There is a hand that pulls, turns, tightens. And starts again.

The leather arrives as cords. They are knotted one by one on a simple frame, with no glue and no hidden stitching: the structure of the bag is the knot itself. Pull it, and it tightens. That is why a bag like this lasts twenty years.

Forty hours of work for one piece. We make two at a time, no more.
